Process Engineer m/f/d Food & Beverage

​

Location European Union/Mediterranean Rim

​

Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, the Process Engineer is responsible to deliver food processing solutions by leading projects related to the implementation of process equipment from specification through procurement, installation, and commissioning.

​

Key Accountabilities

​

Project Management

• Lead projects for appropriation of process equipment from project inception to qualification

• Support product development through the creation of prototypes, process specifications and process flow diagrams

• Prepare documentation for transfer of projects into production, including testing plan and training modules for operations.

Asset Performance Management

• Drive cost reduction by identifying and proposing improvements on process equipment and materials

• Participate in continuous improvement and productivity projects on processing plants

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

​

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or Food Technology or similar

• Knowledge in a secondary subject (mechanical, chemical, automation engineering) is considered an asset

​​

Experience

• Minimum 6 years’ hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment

• 4 years of troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvements on food processing machinery

 

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of a food process machinery

• Strong knowledge of a wide variety of food processing technologies

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD

• Hands on knowledge of project management techniques
