The  Product and Process Team Lead Emulsifier m/f/d

 

• responsible for leading the day-today activities for or  Product and Process Development Emulsifier team in

• In this role, you will ensure that projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets by translating customer and market needs and manufacturing process improvement opportunities into innovative products and process solutions.

Location: Northern German, hybrid

Key Accountabilities

• Build a high performing, highly engaged Product and Process Development Emulsifier team to create vision, strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational development, engagement, communication.

• Provide leadership and advisory on how to execute our innovation and continuous improvement portfolio and product line architecture.

• Responsible for the successful completion of selected projects within global product and continuous improvement portfolio, according to agreed time frames and budgets.

• Initiate and monitor the execution of long-term innovation projects at core research and development or external innovation suppliers, such as universities or start-ups.

• Responsible for providing technology leadership and advice to operations to develop core technology competencies within the team.

• Lead intellectual asset management strategy related to projects and monitor the external environment for intellectual property against defined focus areas that could impact the designated group or the company.

• Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Science and Technology) or equivalent experience

• Minimum of six years of related work experience in Food & Feed Additive & Ingredient space

• Experience in managing and developing high performing teams and leading change in complex matrix organizations

• Proven portfolio management experience, including gate review team/ portfolio review team participation

• Experience in building and fostering strong functional working relationships, collaborating with internal and external leading academics, institutes and companies to influence and drive areas of research as well as anticipate trends

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in a related field (Science and Technology) or equivalent experience

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in the segment of emulsification technologies or emulsifier processing

• Proven experience on how to get things done within a matrix organization. Good tolerance of ambiguity combined with an active approach to problem- solving

• Demonstrated effective project management skills
